1st method : How do i go offline on Facebook Chat ? 

1.open your Facebook account .

2.click the bottom of your chat sidebar.

3. select "chat offline"


but here three method to chat offline (Advance chat setting method)
1.Go offline to all friends
2.Go offline to some friends , but stay online for others friends
3.Go offline to one person.
you can go offline to any method  (individual.some friends,all friends)

2nd method: How do i turn off chat sound ?

1.open your Facebook account .

2.click the bottom of your chat sidebar.

3. unselect(select less) the  chat sounds.
